I’m not vegan (yet) but as someone who is lactose intolerant I definitely miss mac and cheese.
I’m trying out new recipes for all my favorite dishes and this is by far my favorite!
If you’re vegan or lactose intolerant like me I recommend this recipe. It obviously won’t taste like grandma’s but it is definitely delicious, yummy, cheesy, savory, and even nonvegans/cheese-lovers love it!!!
(If you’re wondering why this recipe has a sweet potato & potato in it, it adds to the texture and is not detectable at all – you can use butternut squash or carrots in place of the sweet potato if you’d like!)
Preheat oven to 350°
Ingredients: • 1 box of Macaroni noodles • 1 stick of (Vegan) Butter • Unsweetened Almond Milk • Nutritional Yeast • Daiya Vegan Chedder Cheese • Vegan Mayo (yes, trust me!) • 1 Red Potato & 1 Sweet Potato (optional)
Boil Macaroni noodles (add favorite seasonings to water for taste)
Boil Potato and Sweet Potato (with added Adobo seasoning in water)
Assemble cheese sauce: • Add 1 stick of butter to large pan on low heat. • After the butter is halfway melted add about 1/4 cup of almond milk, 1 + 1/2 cup of nutritional yeast, small splash of A1 sauce, and 2 spoonfuls of vegan mayo. • Add all seasonings listed above (as much as you’d like) • Turn to medium-high heat and add about 6-7 slices of the daiya chedder cheese (can use shreds/cubes if on hand)
Blend the boil potato and sweet potato, 1 spoonful of vegan mayo, and about 1/3 cup of the boiled water
I come to You right now with forgiveness in my heart. For the good Word tells us You will hear our prayers only if we forgive others the way You forgive us. I come to You right now asking for healing in this world, Lord. I come to You asking that You remove the hatred in our lives and that the body of Christ unites in prayer to you God, so we may seek You together as our refuge. Dear Lord, I come to You asking for peace to reign over our lives, that You expose the attacks of the enemy and rebuke him from our lives. I come to You right now asking that anyone who sees this prayer with unbelief in their hearts will find You right now in the name of Jesus. I ask that You search their hearts and in it You find their hurt and pain, remove it, replacing it with Your grace and mercy in Jesus name. I come to You right now God asking for You to heal Your land of all famine and disease. That even when a thousand fall at our right side and ten-thousand on our left side, You will prevail us in Your Holy name, Lord, to live and prosper for You. Dear Lord, you see the wickedness in this world, You see the evilness from free-will being done upon Your land by Your people. I ask that you expose this wickedness and cast it back to Hell where it belongs, never to return to Your earth and kingdom again. Lord I ask that You rebuke all demons, legions, traps and snares of the enemy in Jesus’s mighty and matchless name from our lives. We ask that You expose all sex trafficking, human trafficking, drug trafficking, hate, and wickedness in this world sent by the enemy, bringing it to ruins by Your mighty sword. That You cloth us with Your salvation, purity and peace o’ God. May Your armor protect us and may Your angels surround us. Most importantly may Your will be done Lord, in Jesus mighty and matchless name. This is a prayer for the world. Amen.
How often do we compromise our now because of the past or what we think the future may look like?
The Lord tells us we are wiped clean from our past and made as white as snow. (Isaiah 1:18)
The Lord also tells us not to worry about the future for he knows the plans he has for us. (Matthew 6:34 & Jeremiah 29:11)
So why do we do it?
That’s an answer for each of us individually to ask ourselves and put a stop to the devil’s antics of wanting us to feel unworthy or scared that something from our past will creep up upon us, or that our future will be affected by the place or situation we are in currently.
We serve a God as Christians that guarantees peace when we trust in him fully, promises us eternal life when we believe in Jesus Christ as the Messiah, our Lord, and Savior.
So why do we worry?
Because we are so wrapped up in society and what the world thinks that we forget that the creator of the world, who happens to be our Father, is the one who controls our paths when we give full authority of our lives to Him!
Turn to him, Give it all away. He’s ready for you.
Jesus loves you all, so much so that he gave his life for you to be at peace and not worry about your past, present, or future. ❤
Here is reading of scripture that God gave to me to read: Psalm 91 🕊
I hope you all enjoy this Bible passage as much as I do. These scriptures have helped me, as well as others, so much during this time. For we are reminded in this passage that we are safe in the shelter of the Most High and protected from the enemy when we are in His hands. 🙏🏾
You are loved! You are safe! You are protected in the name of the Lord!
We are more than our earthly bodies for we are spiritual beings. As children of God we are granted the blessing of being a part of the body of Christ. God has given you his Holy Spirit to live inside you, interceding every single day for your greater good in Him. Giving us strength, power, and might.
Without Jesus’s salvation we would be nothing. He helps, saves, and protects us from evil when he knows their is absolutely nothing we can do in return for him that will pay him back for all he’s done, specifically for us.
We can praise him, accept him, share his words, but we can do nothing to repay God for giving us Jesus Christ to die for our sins, and there is nothing we can do to repay Jesus Christ for being our Savior! Yet, nonetheless, he is still their for us in these trying times of uncertainty. For he knows all, does all, and is all.
It’s time for us to be their for others, even if they cannot repay us, just as Jesus does for us every day. ♡
Praise him in the good, the bad, the ugly and the uncertain times of now.
