Struggle

My last semester of college, I struggled.

In fact my entire college experience felt like a struggle. Getting a degree is not easy. I felt overwhelmed constantly. I felt as though because I was getting this degree for God everything had to not just be right but perfect. Boy was I wrong! The truth is God does not expect us to be perfect, He desires us to be righteous through His Son, our Lord and Savior, Yeshua. Our Risen Messiah tells us that He came for those who know they are sinners, not those who believe they are already righteous. As a graduate I look back and I realize how the enemy use perfectionism as a tactic to make me miserable. I felt as if I had to take a certain amount of classes because I wasn’t working my junior and senior year, and that I had to get perfect or near perfect grades to impress others because I wasn’t working or living on campus. Woo! Let me tell you, living for others will get you no where. My degree was supposed to be for Christ yet instead of receiving it righteously by enjoying it, I desired to live for others opinions of me, often ones I made up on my own of what they thought, and my own vision, that I forgot about God’s vision for me. God desires me to be of joy, purity, and peace, and when you are living for others you joy is taken and you worry, your purity is taken because you stop living for God and begin living a perfectionist lifestyle that you can’t obtain, and your peace is gone as depression, anxiety, and fear set in because you cannot live up to these false standards you or other flesh had made up. It is not worth it. I am here to tell you to take it to the cross, hang it up, and follow Jesus! The Bible tells us to hang our iniquities at the cross! We are to crucify our past selves and RISE WITH JESUS CHRIST! Rise with the King of all Kings and live in His ones blessed children of God. Accept Jesus by repenting, believing, accepting, and living in Jesus Christ, He had already done the rest.

Love vs. Sin

“Jesus loves you” is not an excuse to sin. Jesus loves us so much that He died for us to be freed from sin. He doesn’t want us to sin against Him, the Holy Spirit, or His Father in heaven. When Jesus died for us that was the greatest act of love to ever be. That a righteous man, both fully God and man, would take on the responsibility of our sins and resurrect giving us life. Only Jesus could die on the cross for us. We are unworthy, but HIS LOVE gives us worthiness. He declares us righteous and goes before our Father before us, allowing us to be righteous to God our Father. Jesus loves us, yes. But that is not an excuse to sin. It is a call to accept Him as your Lord and Savior, to change our old ways and live a new life in Christ Jesus. Thank you Lord for your love, your peace, your grace, and your mercy in Jesus name. Amen. ❤️

Faith

How faithful is our God?

Faithful enough to forgive us for every sin we have ever committed.

Faithful enough to accept us in to Heaven.

Faithful enough to accept us as children of God!

Cheers to a Godfilled Year

Dear Lord, I pray for your peace to be upon us in Jesus name, may your will be done abundantly in our lives and may your Spirit fulfill us wholly. I pray that your light shines through us to grow others towards Christ and that we never forget how blessed we are to be saved by you Christ Jesus. I love you Lord. Thank you for this day, this year, this life. Please be our peace and give us what we need. Answer our hearts desires in your prayers in Jesus name. Amen.

Rainbow

There is someone out there getting chemo,

Someone out there who just lost their home.

Someone out there who just lost their job.

Someone out there who just lost their child.

Someone out there who just lost their life.

Yet you are here, you are alive. Though you may be going through one or all of these things God sees you as valuable for this season because you are still here. It is not your time yet. Enjoy this season, work for God, trust in the Lord with all your heart and all your soul. He is here for you. God bless.

Prayer to be saved: God I come to you repenting of my sins, asking you for forgiveness. I accept you Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and I thank you for dying on the cross for me. Father I ask that your Holy Spirit live in me and fulfill me. May I do your will and turn from my sin into your righteous living. May no condemnation or evil be upon me in Jesus name. I pray this to you God. Amen.

“When I see the rainbow in the clouds, I will remember the eternal covenant between God and every living creature on earth.”” – (Genesis 9:16)

Never Stray

Who is like the Lord? Nobody!
So why do we stray from the Lord to those who are all the same, when we know they will never be the Lord? Searching for good things in this world and in evilness will only lead you to your previous results: regret, failure, and greed!

When you turn to the Lord you will be given: Eternal Love, Eternal Grace, Eternal Life, Eternal Peace, Joy, Forgiveness, Freedom, Purification, Redemption, and so much more!

• Money will never be worth more than the love of God.
• Friendships will never be worth more than the love of God.
• Wild Parties will never be worth more than the love of God.
• Drugs and Alcohol will never be worth more than the love of God.
• Greed will never be worth more than the love of God
• Lust will never be worth more than the love of God.

Turn to God. Jesus is ready to save you.
Repent of your sins and ask for forgiveness. God bless! ♡

DAIRY FREE/VEGAN MAC AND “CHEESE” :)

I’m not vegan (yet) but as someone who is lactose intolerant I definitely miss mac and cheese.

I’m trying out new recipes for all my favorite dishes and this is by far my favorite!

If you’re vegan or lactose intolerant like me I recommend this recipe. It obviously won’t taste like grandma’s but it is definitely delicious, yummy, cheesy, savory, and even nonvegans/cheese-lovers love it!!!

(If you’re wondering why this recipe has a sweet potato & potato in it, it adds to the texture and is not detectable at all – you can use butternut squash or carrots in place of the sweet potato if you’d like!)

Preheat oven to 350°

Ingredients:
• 1 box of Macaroni noodles
• 1 stick of (Vegan) Butter
• Unsweetened Almond Milk
• Nutritional Yeast
• Daiya Vegan Chedder Cheese
• Vegan Mayo (yes, trust me!)
• 1 Red Potato & 1 Sweet Potato (optional)

Seasonings:
• Adobo
• Paprika
• Dried Minced Onion
• Onion Powder
• Garlic Powder
• Pepper
• A1 Sauce

Directions:

  1. Boil Macaroni noodles (add favorite seasonings to water for taste)
  2. Boil Potato and Sweet Potato
(with added Adobo seasoning in water)
  3. Assemble cheese sauce:
    • Add 1 stick of butter to large pan on low heat.
    • After the butter is halfway melted add about 1/4 cup of almond milk, 1 + 1/2 cup of nutritional yeast, small splash of A1 sauce, and 2 spoonfuls of vegan mayo.
    • Add all seasonings listed above (as much as you’d like)
    • Turn to medium-high heat and add about 6-7 slices of the daiya chedder cheese (can use shreds/cubes if on hand)
  4. Blend the boil potato and sweet potato, 1 spoonful of vegan mayo, and about 1/3 cup of the boiled water
  5. Add the potato blend to cheese sauce
  6. Add noodles to sauce

(You can stop here or keep going for baked mac)

  1. Top with paprika and some thin slices of butter
  2. Place into over if you’d like for 10-15 minutes!

SUPER EASY AND FUN! GOD BLESS.

Vegan Ricotta:
Blend or Stir extra firm tofu, about a cup of nutritional yeast, splash of lemon juice, 3/4 cup of water, and some dried parsley. You can add other seasonings if you’d like, you also cannot taste the lemon juice. (It tastes so good, when it is cooked it literally taste like ricotta cheese, not kidding, scouts honor 🙂 )

Vegan Meat:
Gardein Crumbles cooked in olive oil with chopped spring, green onions, and garlic.
Add seasonings (I used Adobo, dried Thyme, Season Salt, a tiny dose of dried Rosemary, Minced Onion and Roasted Garlic Powder)

Noodles:
Regular Jumbo Shell Pasta, cooked for 10 minutes. For extra flavor add a packet or 2 of Washington’s seasoning (found at Giant, perfect for greens too!)
After shells are cooked, drain them and put them in cool water for about 5-10 minutes 🙂

Sauce:
Warm in a medium sized pot an entire can of Franseco Renaldi or any other pasta sauce (I add thyme, a little brown sugar, and paprika)
